Summer Associate
Big Fire Law & Policy Group is seeking candidates for its Summer 2023 Associate
Program in each of our office locations: (1) Omaha, Nebraska; (2)
Winnebago, Nebraska; and (3) Washington D.C. We will be hiring three total
Summer Associates, one for each office. Please specify your desire to work in the
litigation practice group, the transaction practice group, or the policy practice group.

Big Fire Law & Policy Group LLP is seeking candidates with at least 5 years of Employment Law experience to join our Firm. The right candidate will have the opportunity to work on cases in a variety of areas including wrongful termination, discrimination and wage and hour matters, workers compensation, contracts, harassment claims, advising on HR policies, and compliance with the law relating to the formation and cessation of employee relationships.
Paralegal
As a Paralegal with Big Fire Law & Policy Group LLP, you will provide paralegal support to our team on a variety of matters primarily in our corporate transactional practice group, with litigation paralegal support at times. The work requires professionalism, initiative, accuracy, discretion, and confidentiality.
Policy Specialist/Lobbyist
Big Fire Law & Policy Group LLP is seeking candidates with 3-5 years of policy and advocacy experience with tribal governments to join our Washington D.C. office. The right candidate will have a significant history working with tribal communities, Capitol Hill, or regulatory agency experience and demonstrate excellent communications skills.
Associate Attorney – Economic Development/Cannabis
Big Fire Law & Policy Group LLP is seeking candidates with at least 3 years of economic development and cannabis experience to join our Firm. The right candidate will have the opportunity to work on cases in a variety of areas including entity formation, governance, tax exemption and compliance, formation of commercial agreements, loan documents, and development of programs to assist community economic opportunities. This position also includes navigating legal processes, regulations, and compliance within the cannabis industry.
