Josh Pitre has over 15 years of experience working on behalf of tribes in the Nation\u2019s Capital. He has worked in the U.S. House of Representatives, U.S. Senate, for the National Congress of American Indians (NCAI) and in the private sector representing tribes from across the country.<\/p>

During his time on Capitol Hill, Josh worked for the committees with primary jurisdiction over Indian affairs\u2014the House Committee on Natural Resources and the Senate Committee on Indian Affairs. Since transitioning to the private sector, Josh helps tribes and tribal organizations navigate Capitol Hill and the Administration to ensure that their legislative and policy related needs are met.<\/p>

Over the years, Pitre has worked on numerous issues, including tribal land and water settlements, treaty fishing rights, federal funding, climate change, federal recognition, and sacred site protection.
